Wazy Hostel Peru
Wazy was my home, or more precisely my hostel, when I first arrived in Huanchaco. And now, it proudly holds one of my murals.
After spending two months traveling through Bolivia, Northwest Argentina, central Chile, and Easter Island, I finally made it to northern Peru, where I planned to settle for a month and a half, to work and surf.
I started out at Wazy, which gave me time to get a feel for the place before moving into more permanent housing. That week at the hostel also gave me the perfect opportunity to pitch my artistic services to Gabriel, and just like that, I found myself diving into several days (and weeks!) of painting.

Mandala Orange and Purple
The first request was to bring some life to the entrance.
To transform it, I imagined a mandala that would both brighten and harmonize the small area.
The hostel’s colors are orange and purple, so I used those as the base for the design. At the owner's request, I also hand-painted the name of the place on the door, using the same lettering style as the logo.
And just like that, from sketch to wall, the mural came to life!
