What is the difference between a Dreamcatcher and a Power Shield?
A dreamcatcher is traditionally intended for bedrooms. Its purpose is to filter negative dreams and nightmares while encouraging peaceful and positive dreams.
A Power Shield, on the other hand, is a protective spiritual tool that combines different energies such as animal hide, essential oils, paint, symbols, stones, and totemic energies.
Where do the Power Shields come from?
Each Power Shield is entirely handmade and energetically purified by Maëv'Art.
Every piece carries the energy of a stone, an essential oil, an animal hide, and the spirit of the totem animal or symbol represented on it.
She creates each shield, totem, and keychain from beginning to end, assembling every material consciously and with intention. She does not always choose which leather will represent which energy, because each one naturally carries its own unique vibration and purpose.
The leather she works with has received rituals of gratitude before reaching her hands. The communities that used them honored and thanked the animals for the gift of their hide and nourishment. In turn, she also honors and thanks the animal while painting, because through its spirit, character, and energy, it helps guide us toward healing, strength, and personal growth.
